My oldest sister sent me some photos today of when we lived in Butte
Montana. Wow, that was about 32 years ago.
That is me with my 5 sisters. It was fall of 1978. I was 12! in this picture. Yep, that is me in the pink… I remember
everything about that photo. It was the late summer/early fall and it was the first time my niece Ramona was brought to Butte. (She is being held by her mom; my oldest sister Marg)
If I knew then what I know now. I would know to enjoy and do better in school. Also, I would have written it all down in a journal. There is so much, but mostly I would have not been so shy, 'just done it' and gone for every dream.
Don't get me wrong; I have a great life. But the knowing of 'being me' now that I really wish I knew: Everything will all work out with a little focused work!
I often have the same thoughts. And though I frequently ponder the difference it would have made had I known then what I know now, I realize not knowing produced the experiences that made me who I am. There’s still much to learn and many ways to improve, but I’m grateful for who and what I am. Thanks for the blog and tweets…keep it up.
